The Gatehouse, which is grade II listed, is located in the grounds of Teversal Manor and has recently been converted from the old Coach House. The interior has to be seen to be appreciated. It is very spacious with a huge open plan kitchen/lounge area opening out onto a terrace and garden. Cloakroom and downstairs toilet. The first bedroom and ensuite bathroom is on the ground floor. Two further double bedrooms and a bathroom are on the second floor along with a studio bedroom with double sofa bed. The beamed loft area has two double beds and a double sofa bed. The interior is newly converted and decorated with stone floors, whitewashed walls and exposed beams. It is all underfloor heated.

The Gatehouse is ideally situated being 10 minutes from the M1 and within 30 minutes drive from the Peak district attractions. Teversal Gardens, tearoom and gift shop are open to the public from Thursday to Sunday, and visitors to the property are allowed free access to the gardens.

  • All the bedrooms are very spacious, and St. Katherines Room can also be used as an extra lounge area or study for the business person. The Gallery Room is a family room, with two double beds and a bed settee, which sleeps six. Cots are available for any of the bedrooms.

  • The kitchen has a 6 ring stove, and has excellent facilities for the enthusiastic cook. A small welcome package of food will be awaiting you on your arrival, and if the tearooms are open a light lunch or afternoon tea can be booked in advance.
